What the room was up against.
Five service venues — auditoriums, cinemas and a training centre — were being used for ceremonies, briefings and film screenings with equipment that had been bought piecemeal and never tuned to the rooms. Speech was unintelligible past the middle rows and every venue behaved differently.
Acoustic treatment, line-array sound, projection and control across auditoriums, cinemas and the 3TTR training centre — executed to defence procurement and site-security norms.
- Measured each venue and set one performance standard for all five
- Detailed treatment and isolation to suit existing structures, with no new construction
- Standardised the sound, projection and control platform so operators move between venues without retraining
- Executed under defence procurement, access and site-security norms
All five venues were handed over on schedule, each measured against the same target and operated by trained service staff using an identical control layout.
